How to Make Healthy Sweet Snacks with Almond Butter, Almond Flour, and Olive Oil

Ingredients 1 1/2 cups almond flour 1 cup rolled oats 1/4 cup rolled unsweetened cocoa powder 1/3 cup coconut oil 1/8 cup almond butter, melted 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened 1/16 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/5 cup unsweeten organic cocoa powder (or 1 tablespoon coconut oil, for a healthier alternative) 1/6 cup unsalted organic coconut oil (or unsweetening coconut oil) Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, oats, cocoa powder, and coconut oil.

Add in the melted butter, and whisk until the mixture is fluffy.

Add the melted coconut oil and mix well until combined.

Add almond butter to the mix and whisk to combine.

Using a spoon, stir in the almond butter mixture until the almond mixture is well incorporated.

Pour the almond flour mixture into the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the almonds are firm to the touch.

Let cool slightly, then transfer to a cooling rack.

Recipe Notes For a healthier version, you can substitute almond butter for unsweetenerated coconut oil instead of almond flour.
